2. Scope of application: Insertion densitometer can be used for real-time and online density detection. It can be used for process control of products with density as the basic parameter or for quality control with solid percentage or concentration percentage as reference. Typical industries include petroleum and chemical industry, wine industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry and mineral processing (such as clay, carbonate, silicate, etc.), which are specifically applied to the interface detection of multi-product pipelines, density detection of stirred mixture, end-point monitoring of reaction kettle and interface detection of separator in the above industries. The sensor works on the principle of vibration of components, which are the tuning fork immersed in the tested liquid. The tuning fork part is induced by an internal piezoelectric device fixed to the bottom end of the fork. The oscillation frequency is detected by a secondary piezoelectric device attached to the other end of the fork, which amplifies the signal through a circuit on the top. The liquid density is closely related to the vibration frequency of the measured liquid flow, and when the density of the measured liquid changes, the vibration frequency of the liquid flow also changes. The density of the measured liquid can be accurately calculated using the following equation.

During density detection, RST301 insertion densitometer can automatically compensate for the influence of temperature on the density (D) of the measured medium, while pressure has no significant influence on the density.
