1. Product overview
RST80- Series sensors are 26G high frequency radar level measuring instruments, measuring the maximum distance up to 70 meters. The antenna is further optimized and the new fast microprocessor can analyze and process the signal at a higher rate, so that the instrument can be used in some complex measuring conditions such as reaction kettle and solid silo.
Principle
The radar object level antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse, which is transmitted downward by the antenna. When the microwave touches the surface of the medium under test, it is reflected back and again received by the antenna system, which automatically converts the signal to the electronic circuit into an object level signal (because of the extremely fast propagation speed of microwave, the time it takes for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and be reflected back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).
The datum plane of measurement is: the sealing surface of the thread base or flange.
Note: When using radar object level timing, make sure that the highest material level cannot enter the blind area (as shown in Figure D).
